Gas storage tanks play a crucial role in industrial applications such as mining, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, and boiler industries. In factories that use compressed air, gas storage tanks can ensure a smooth output of compressed air, providing functions such as water and oil removal, filtration, energy conservation, and buffering. At the same time, they can collect moisture from the cooled air and remove it from the system. The gas storage tank is also an air bag, ensuring the use requirements during peak gas usage. The function of a gas storage tank is to store compressed air and stabilize the power of the gas source. It can eliminate or weaken the peripheral airflow pulsation of the piston air compressor exhaust, stabilize the pressure in the pipeline, and supply the pipeline in a short time after shutdown to complete necessary pneumatic operations. At the same time, the compressed air has a certain preliminary treatment effect of removing water and dirt through the air storage tank.
Gas storage tanks are divided into three categories: carbon steel storage tanks, stainless steel storage tanks, and aluminum alloy storage tanks.
The welding of carbon steel gas storage tanks adopts submerged arc automatic welding and gas shielded welding; The welding of stainless steel gas storage tanks adopts plasma automatic welding and tungsten inert gas welding.
